Submission Details

The Submission Details section of the Assignment Settings panel lets you specify the submission method (online or offline) and the submission format for online submissions.

If you select Online as the Submission Method, then you can select which formats the students can submit their assignment. By default, File and Text are both selected. When the student attempts to submit their assignment, they can only submit formats that match what you selected for the Allowed format for online submissions setting.

If you select Offline as the Submission Method, then there are no additional settings required in the Assignment Settings panel. You can collect and grade submissions offline.
