There are three grading tasks to manage:
Needs grading: submissions that haven't been graded yet, oldest first.
Needs posting: grades you've entered but haven't released to students yet.
Needs reconciliation: grades from delegated or parallel grading that are ready for a final decision. This only appears if your course uses one of those grading modes.
Across all of my courses
To view your grading action items across all of your courses, select the Grades tab from the base navigation.

For a single course
The To Do panel
In the gradebook, select To Do to open a panel of grading tasks over the gradebook.
Needs grading: lists submissions ready for grading, oldest ungraded submissions first, so you can prioritize. Select an item to open the submission and start grading. Peer assignments aren't listed here.
Needs posting: lists graded assessments that are ready to post.
Needs reconciliation: lists grades that require reconciliation.

Sorting to find what needs attention
In list view of the gradebook, sort by the Grading Status column to quickly surface everything that still needs grading or sort by the Post column to surface grades that need to be posted.

Needs Grading and Needs Posting icons
Under the column headers In the grid view, the paper and pencil icon indicate needs grading and the paper airplane icon indicates needs posting.
