Academic Integrity and Third-Party Extensions

While system and browser spell check tools are highly configurable, third-party software may intentionally block or override them to maintain academic integrity during assessments. Examples include lockdown browsers, online proctoring solutions, and testing extensions. If spell check is not functioning within a specific testing environment even though it is turned on, it is likely restricted by one of these extensions.
