Grade Export Transfer Methods

While SFTP is the most common method for transferring Grade Export delimited files, there are several other options. Please note that the Local and FTP options are not recommended and are not detailed here.

Transfer Method: SFTP, SCP, FTSP

Transfer Type

  • Each File - results in a single extract file per course being transferred individually

  • Combined File - will send one file will all Approved rows for all courses

    A manual extract will generate a course-specific extract file

Use Windows EOL

Select Enabled if this will be processed on a Windows environment requiring Windows EOL

Enter the URL or IP address to the server

Port

Enter the server port

Username

Enter the username

Password

Enter the password

Path

Enter the path for the extract files

AWS Region

Enter the region in which the AWS bucket is located

S3 Bucket Name

Enter the name of the AWS S3 bucket

IAM Access Key

Enter the key credential for the AWS S3 bucket

IAM Access Secret

Enter the IAM access secret

Path

Enter the path for the extract files

Azure

Transfer Type

  • Each File - results in a single extract file per course being transferred individually

  • Combined File - will send one file with all Approved rows for all courses

    A manual extract will generate a course-specific extract file

Select Enabled if this will be processed on a Windows environment requiring Windows EOL

Azure Blob Storage SAS Url

Provide a user delegated shared access signature (SAS) token URL to an Azure Blob storage location. The format should be Storage resource URI + ? + SAS token. Please refer to the latest Microsoft documentation for more details.

Path

Path for the extract files
