Storage and Usage Reports
Administrators need access to timely information about storage and usage. They use this to compare actual usage against contracted limits. We send administrators monthly reports of peak usage metrics. Using Insights Reports, admins can also look at many daily metrics over time to find the peaks. Blackboard Home now provides up-to-date peak usage metrics. The reports show peak usage over a configurable number of months. These metrics include billable storage and users, displayed together with the contracted limits. There are also reports for login counts and current storage use segmented by file type. Blackboard Home has not yet replaced the Insights Report. Both reports will appear for now. Blackboard Home appears to full System Administrators in the Admin panel.

Important
This feature is an LTI 1.3 application and managed via DevPortal.
Application must be enabled via Administrator Panel > LTI Tool Providers > Blackboard Home. LTI application must be configured to send the user fields "Role in Course". Administrators are unable to further limit access.
If the application is not present, you may just need to resynchronize the LTI Tool Providers via: Administrator Panel > LTI Tool Providers > Synchronize LTI 1.3 Tools > Submit.

Storage
Storage Usage | Shows storage usage for all selected Blackboard instances. A gigabyte is equal to 1,073,741,824 bytes |
Disk Usage by File Type | Shows aggregate disk usage by type for all selected Blackboard instances |
File Counts by File Type | Shows aggregate file type counts for all selected Blackboard instances |
Users
Available Users | Shows the number of available users for all selected Blackboard instances |
Active Users | Shows the number of enabled users with access to an available course for all selected Blackboard instances |
Logins
Unique Logins 30/60/90 Days | Shows the number of unique logins for all selected Blackboard instances. A unique login is defined as any user who has successfully logged in within the noted time frame. Each unique user is only counted once. |
Total Successful Logins | Shows the number of successful logins for all selected Blackboard instances |
Total Failed Logins | Shows the number of failed logins for all selected Blackboard instances |
Daily Sessions | Shows the number of daily sessions for all selected Blackboard instances |
Courses
Courses over Time | Shows the number of courses for all selected Blackboard instances |
Active Courses | Shows active course counts for all selected Blackboard instances, broken down by course type |
Total Courses | Shows total course counts for all selected Blackboard instances, broken down by course type |
Contract Entitlements
Storage Usage | The storage usage for all selected Blackboard instances. A gigabyte is equal to 1,073,741,824 bytes |
Health
Uptime | The percentage of successful synthetics checks made |
Apdex | Apdex is an industry standard to measure users' satisfaction with the response time of web applications and services. It's represented as a score from 0-1 |
Requests per Minute | Throughput measures how many requests this service processes per minute |
Unique Learn Users | This shows the number of unique Blackboard users |
Logins | This shows the number of times the authentication service processed a response. |
