Program Management

Program managers create, edit, and delete programs of study and create associations between courses so that the courses are prerequisites or corequisites. A program is a collection of two or more courses connected as prerequisites or corequisites. Completion of these courses culminates in the completion of the program.

The Program Management Screen

The Program Management screen lists all the programs currently in the catalog. This is where you add, update, and delete programs.

  1. Select Administration from the home screen.

  2. Select Program Management.

Add a program

You will add programs from this screen.

  1. Select Add Program.

  2. Fill out all the required fields.

  3. Select courses that make up the program.

  4. Select Save to save the program.

Search for a program

Type in a keyword in to search for a program. The search will examine all the fields that are available for each program row. The results will narrow as you type.

Update a program

You can update any of the program characteristics except the Program ID.

  1. Select the program name. Alternately, select the three dot menu on the program row and choose Edit.

  2. Make the appropriate changes.

  3. Select Save to save your changes.

Change the availability of a program

To quickly change the availability of a program, select he arrow next to the current availability on the program row. Choose the updated availability from the menu.

Delete a program

Deleting a program removes the program from Course Catalog but does not affect the courses that are associated with the program.

  1. Select the three dot menu in the program row.

  2. Select Delete.

  3. Select Delete in the confirmation dialog.
