Intro: What are Outcomes?
An Outcome is a measurable, observable, and specific statement that shows what a learner should know and be able to do after learning. Outcomes explain to learners, mentors, and faculty what learners will achieve in each course and how their learning will be assessed.
Singular outcomes can be grouped into a set for a specific subject or program area, detailing all the skills needed to show proficiency. Outcomes can be linked to badges, so earning a badge proves a student's proficiency in the related outcomes.
