Intro: What are Membership Roles?
There are six different membership roles in Milestone that a user can hold within an organization.
Primary Owners: Have full control over the organization and can create or modify other owners. Each issuing organization has exactly one primary owner, with the role defaulting to the user who registered the issuer. This role can be transferred.
Owners: Have ownership rights but can't delete or transfer the organization. They can manage admin roles and delete members.
Administrators: Can create programs and badges. They can add new administrators but can't remove administrator rights from others.
Members: General users with limited rights. Administrators can make them staff for specific programs, allowing them to create and assess program content.
Learners: Students in the programs.
Mentors: Provide career services. They can browse and comment on members' goals, but don't design or assess programs.
