Navigate the Gradebook with JAWS
The gradebook is designed to use table navigation.
Access the gradebook
Gradebook is a link at the course level. It can be accessed by using the links menu:
Select Insert + F7 to call the links menu.
Select the up or down arrow key until you reach Gradebook.
Select Enter.
The gradebook is also in the Course Navigation region/landmark, and you can navigate to it through the region/landmarks menu:
Select Insert + Ctrl + R to call the region/landmarks menu.
Select the down arrow key until you reach Course Navigation.
Select Enter.
Select the down arrow key until you reach Gradebook.
Select Enter.
The gradebook can also be found under heading level 1:
Select Tab or the down arrow key until you reach Gradebook.
Select Enter.
Navigate inside the gradebook
In the gradebook, select T to select the table and navigate with the Ctrl + Alt + arrow keys. Navigating this way will ensure that the headers of the columns are read while you are navigating.
Exit the gradeboook
To exit the gradebook and return to content, you must locate the Content link:
Select Insert +F7 to call the links menu.
Select the up or down arrow key until you reach Content.
Select Enter.

Select Insert + Ctrl+ R to call the region/landmarks menu.
Select the up or down arrow key until you reach Course Navigation.
Select Enter.
Select the up or down arrow key until you reach Content.
Select Enter.
