Syllabus Statements
Promoting Ally's alternative formats is an ongoing effort throughout the semester. The syllabus is an excellent place to start. Some institutions might already require accessibility language in course syllabi, so adapt the sample statements below as appropriate for your context. The examples include both a general accessibility statement that reflects an instructor’s commitment to inclusive learning and a statement specifically focused on Ally’s alternative formats.
General accessibility statement

Alternative formats can help you access course materials in ways that fit your preferences and needs, including audio, translated versions, ePub (eReader), accessible PDFs, HTML, Microsoft Immersive Reader, BeeLine Reader, and Braille Ready Format.
