Ally for Instructors: Microlearning Video Series for Accessible Teaching
Ally for Instructors is a microlearning video series designed to help faculty quickly build confidence and practical skill in creating accessible, inclusive course materials. Each concise episode focuses on one actionable task instructors can immediately apply in their LMS using Ally’s feedback and tools. Whether you’re new to accessibility or refining existing practices, this series gives you clear demonstrations, real-world examples, and quick wins that elevate your course content and remove barriers for all learners.
The goal is to empower instructors to make meaningful accessibility improvements in under five minutes, while deepening their understanding of why these changes matter for student success, equity, and universal design.
All videos are for the series are housed on Vimeo, in a showcase (Vimeo’s version of a playlist) called Ally for Instructors: Microlearning for Accessible Teaching. Captions are available by selecting the CC button in the bottom-right corner of the player toolbar. Captions have been reviewed and edited for accuracy. A transcript is also available and can be accessed by selecting the Transcript icon (outlined in the screenshot below).
