Configure Course Accessibility Report for D2L Brightspace

Record Client ID, Key and Secret

  1. Sign in as an administrator.

  2. Open Admin Tools and select External learning tools.

  3. Open the Ally Institutional Report actions menu.

  4. Select Edit Link.

  5. Record the Client ID, Key, and Secret.

    Tip

    If the “Secret” is not visible, it should have been provided to you by your technical consultant during the implementation. Also make a note of your Client ID, which is the number between “v1/” and “/lti”in the “URL”. These values will be needed during the configuration of the course accessibility report.

  6. Select Cancel.

Add course accessibility report to a course

  1. From a course, open the Actions for Navbar and select Edit the Shared Navbar.

    The actions for navbar menu expanded to show Customize This Navbar, Manage All Course Navbars, and Edit the Shared Navbar.
  2. Select Add Links.

  3. Select Create Custom Link.

  4. Use this Name: Accessibility report

  5. Name: “Accessibility Report”

    Tip

    This is the name of the link in the course Navbar. Rename it if you want.

  6. Select Insert Quicklink.

  7. Select Ally Course Report in External Learning Tools.

  8. Select Limit to specific roles and select the roles that should have access to the course accessibility report.

  9. Select Create, Add, and Save and Close.

“Accessibility Report” should now be available in the course Navbar.
