License Entitlements and Feature Availability
Illuminate is available to all Blackboard LMS customers hosted in supported regions. Institutions can have core or premium subscriptions.

Blackboard Illuminate reserves the right to modify entitlements as needed to improve our services or address evolving needs. Any updates will be communicated to you in advance, ensuring your institution has sufficient time to prepare and adjust accordingly.
Entitlements based on authentication type
Illuminate Core for institutions with institutional authentication are entitled to:
30 seat licenses for Reporting.
350 Snowflake credits for Developer.
1 service account that enables you to connect to different BI tools as well as to your own institutional data platforms.
Institutions with native authentication have 20 seat licenses instead of 30. To request institutional authentication at no additional cost, create a support ticket.
