Snowflake Account Settings
Tip
If you haven't migrated your account to Institutional Authentication, a banner appears. For more information about migration, visit Migrate to Institutional Authentication
From Settings, under Snowflake Account Settings, you can view information about your Snowflake service account.
View service account information
You can use your service account to integrate with other systems.
Log in to Blackboard Illuminate.
From the navigation bar, select Settings. Then select Snowflake Account Settings,
Under Service Account List, you can view which accounts are enabled and how many days until the password expires. You can change the password for an account.

If you're logged into the Snowflake Console, you can also view these settings to use for integrations:
Server: Your Snowflake URL. For example, oha52661.snowflakecomputing.com.
Warehouse: In the Context section of the Snowflake UI, usually BLACKBOARD_DATA_WH.
Database: In the left panel where the schemas are listed.
Note
To quickly copy information, right-click and select Place Name in SQL. For example, BLACKBOARD_DATA_512586BFD5794746B0E5D14CB8322067.
Change service account password
If your account is disabled, you must change the service account’s password to enable it.
Note
Your IP address must not be on a restricted list in your Snowflake service account. Visit IP address restriction to learn more.
Log in to Blackboard Illuminate.
From the navigation bar, select Settings.
Select Snowflake Account Settings.
From the migration available banner, select Configure Migration. The Migration to Universal Authentication System (UAS) screen appears.
Note
URL scanning software, such as antivirus, can block your access to Snowflake's redirect link. This won't allow you to complete a password change. Try from another browser that doesn’t use this software or change your antivirus settings.
Track Snowflake credits usage
You can view how many Snowflake credits you have remaining.
Note
A Snowflake credit is approximately 1 hour of usage of Snowflake.
Log in to Blackboard Illuminate.
From the navigation bar, select Settings.
Select Snowflake Account Settings.
Under Remaining credits, you can view how many credits have remaining for the month out of the total.
