Email Marketing

Plan, build, send, and report on modern email campaigns, including templates, audiences, A/B tests, deliverability, and detailed email performance reporting.

Prerequisites

You must have the following permissions:

  • Super Admin – Full access; needs Advanced HTML Email Author for HTML-only

  • Communications Admin – Full access; needs extra roles for lists, HTML, templates

  • Email Author – Most access; cannot release emails or manage lists A/B Testing

  • Author – Can create A/B campaigns (needs base role)

  • Advanced HTML Email Author – Can create HTML-only emails (needs base role)

  • Reporting Admin – Access to reports

  • Template & Style Manager – Manages templates/styles

  • List & Segment Manager – Manages lists and segments

Access Method

From the Email menu, choose Email Home from the far left column/panel.

You need to Add Version to apply template/HTML or copy content from an existing version. Once the version is available, you can edit content for a specific version to apply the template/HTML or copy content from an existing version.Create and Manage Version - Segmented Campaign

For A/B Testing Campaign

If you exit before selecting the email content (Template or HTML) while creating the campaign, you can still access the Build from Template | HTML option for that A/B Testing campaign in Drafts.

However, once you click Next and proceed to the Edit Content step, you will no longer be able to go back and apply a different template to the email.

If you have already selected a template or HTML content, you can only edit the existing content.

4. Add Sender

Add sender. The From Name and From Email which will be used when the message is sent. This field is required for release.
