Canonical Data Models

Illuminate organizes your institutional data into canonical data models (CDMs) — standardized, documented data structures for each Blackboard product, such as CDM_LMS for Blackboard LMS and CDM_ALY for Ally. When you query data in Snowflake or build your own reports, the canonical data models are what you're working with.
