Integration Status to External Systems Page

Use the Integration status to external systems page to view the integration and acknowledgment details of entity records sent to external systems subscribed to Anthology Finance & HCM Azure Service Bus topics.

Roles and Privileges

  • Human resource assistant or Human resource manager role - To view the form.

  • System administrator - To view the form, reset the Error and Sent status of entity records to Pending, and delete entity records.

Access Method

  • Click Modules > Human resources > Integration with external systems > Inquiries and reports > Integration status to external systems

Task(s) that use this Form

The following tables provide descriptions of controls on this page.

Action button Description
Delete Deletes the selected records that have Error or Pending status.
Reset status Resets the status to Pending for the selected records that have Error or Sent status, so that the records can be resent to the external system.

When the status of the records is reset to Pending, the acknowledgment information for the records is cleared from the ACKNOWLEDGMENT DETAILS section.

 

Filter Description
Entity type Select the entity name to filter the records by the selected value. Following values are displayed:
  • Department
  • Employee
  • Position
  • Earning code (EarnCodeType value will be "Hours" or "Units" or "Amount")
  • Position worker assignment
  • Job type
  • Job function
  • Job
  • Title
  • Position type
  • Pay cycle
  • Pay period
  • Employee position assignment
Note: When integrated with Anthology Payroll, the data of the following entities is brought from Anthology Payroll:
  • Position
  • Earning code
  • Pay cycle
  • Pay period
  • Employee position assignment
  • Position worker assignment

Date filters Description
From Displays the selected start date.
To Displays the selected end date
Note:
  • The From and To date fields are not mandatory.

  • By default, upon page load, records are displayed from the previous day (today-1) to the current day, based on the last modified date. You may select a different date range as needed to view the desired records.

 

Field Description
Record ID ID of the entity record.
Integration status Indicates the integration status of the entity record sent to Azure Service Bus. It can have one of the following values:

  • Pending - The record is yet to be sent to the Azure Service Bus.

  • Sent - The record is successfully sent to the Azure Service Bus.

  • Error - An error occurred while sending the record to Azure Service Bus. The error details are displayed in the Integration message field in the INTEGRATION DETAILS section.
Last modified Date and time when the record was updated in Anthology Finance & HCM.

INTEGRATION DETAILS Section

Field Description
Integration record details Details of the selected entity record in the field-value pair format.
Integration message Additional information on the integration status of the selected entity record to the Azure Service Bus.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT DETAILS Section

Field Description
Acknowledgment status Indicates the acknowledgment status of the selected entity record imported by the external system. It can have one of the following values:

  • Success - The record was successfully imported by the external system.

  • Error - An error occurred while importing the record by the external system. The error details are displayed in the Acknowledgment message field.
Source name The name of the external system from where the acknowledgment was received for the selected entity record. It can have one of the following values:

  • CNS-FWM - Indicates the external system is Faculty Workload Management.

  • TCP - Indicates the external system is TimeClock Plus.

For example, if the external system is Faculty Workload Management, it will be CNS-FWM.
Received date / time The date and time when the acknowledgment for the selected entity record was received from the external system.

 

Field Description
Acknowledgment record details Details of the data imported by the external system for the selected entity record in the field-value pair format.
Acknowledgment message Additional information on the acknowledgment status of the selected entity record received from the external system.
