Running the Import Configuration
When you click Finish on page 6 of 6, the Talisma Import - Job Creation page is displayed, listing the stored procedures and SQL Server jobs created for the Import Configuration.

To exit the wizard, click Close. The stored procedures and SQL Server Jobs created for the Import Configuration are saved on the SQL Server, and can be run later.

To run the Import Configuration you have just created, click Run. The status of the import operation is displayed in the View Status for Configuration page.
The Stored Procedures and SQL Server Jobs
The Step Details area lists the Step ID, Step Name, and the date and time at which the step is executed. Select a step to view its details in the Status area.
When the import operation is complete, data is transferred to the interface tables and Talisma tables.
Note • You can also run the stored procedures and SQL Server Jobs using Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Manager. • To improve performance, it is recommended that you close the Job Status dialog box. You can view the status of a job that is running by using the View Status and Log option. • Click Stop in the Job Status dialog box to stop an Import Configuration that is running. The SQL Server job for the Import Configuration is stopped. Note that you cannot restart an Import Configuration that has been stopped. You must run the Import Configuration again. |
