Verification Document Approvals
When the student progress for submitting the items in the Required Documents List is complete, the system assigns the Pending Required Document Approval status. At this point of the process, the financial aid staff member assigned to the student should review and verify the information in the submitted documents to ensure there is no incorrect or inconsistent information between these documents and what is on the ISIR.
To access a student with documents to be reviewed:
-
From the Site Sections menu at the top of the page select Verification > Dashboard and select the Pending Required Document Approval tile.
Every student listed in the Pending Required Document Approval tile has documents that are pending review. Students with 100% documents completed have provided all required documents and an associate (or associates if multiple levels of approval are required) can perform verification on the student's information.
Note: As best practice be sure to select the Documents Aging column header to sort the list by the number of days that the documents have been completed and ready for review. This way, you can work the oldest documents first.
-
Select the student name (displayed in blue) to open the Student Details page.
-
If you do not locate the student in the list, you can use the student search function (see Find a Student).
Pending Second Level Document Approval
Version 22.4 of Student Verification adds a sub-tile under Pending Required Document Approval. The sub-tile label is Pending Second Level Document Approval. It appears when ALL first level document reviews have been approved and ANY documents with 2nd level approval are required (incomplete) based on current filter selections. Select the down-arrow () to view the sub-tile.
When you select the Pending Second Level Document Approval sub-tile label, the records requiring second level approval are displayed in a grid.
Select a record by selecting the student name. Note that the Status is Pending Required Document Approval.
Expand the Number of ISIR Required Documents and note the pending second level approvals.
