Fields for Earning Code Type and Overtime
When Anthology Finance & HCM is integrated with an external system, the following fields are used to capture the hourly earning code type and overtime data of an employee:
Earning Code Type Field
The Earning code type field is:
-
Used for classifying Earning codes as Hourly or Leave type when the Unit of measure is Hours.
-
Available for editing in the Earning Code form (under Payroll > Setup > Earnings > Earning Codes) when Anthology Finance & HCM is integrated with an external system. For more information, see Enable Integration with External Systems Subscribed to ASB Topics.
The default value for the Earning code type is None, which can be set for all types of Unit of measure. However, when the Unit of measure is Hours user can choose either Hourly or Leave as the Earning code type based on the requirement for creating the desired earning code.
For example, to create an Earning code as Paid Leave or Sick Leave the user needs to create individual Earning codes with the Unit of measure as Hours and the Earning code type as Leave.
When Anthology Finance & HCM is integrated with an external system, the value of the Earning code type must be selected while configuring an Earning code.
OT1 and OT2 Fields
In Anthology Finance & HCM, the overtime for an employee is captured using the OT1 and OT2 fields that are available in the following forms:
- Position form (under Human resources > Positions > Position)
- Manage changes form (under Payroll > Position> Change timeline> Manage changes > click the Payroll tab)
The OT1 and OT2 fields are available for editing when Anthology Finance & HCM is integrated with an external system. For more information, see Enable Integration with External Systems Subscribed to ASB Topics.
In the OT1 and OT2 fields, only the Earning codes with the Earning code type as Hourly are available for selection.
