Time Rule Group Premiums

Description
Each record on this form defines the policies of one time premium and which rule group those policies apply to. Time premiums can be associated with multiple time rule groups with different policies controlling their operation for each rule group.
Fields

| Time premium | Time premium code that the policies are defined for |
| Shift type group | Restriction on shift types that this policy applies to |
| Shift length type | Restriction on shift lengths that this policy applies to |
| Earning | Earning code paid to workers who receive the time premium. May be associated with earning thresholds or earning splits. |
| Minimum earning hours | Minimum number of hours worked before worker qualifies for this premium |
| Maximum earning hours | Maximum number of hours worked before worker stops qualifying for this premium |
| Start day | Day of the week that eligibility period starts |
| Start time | Time of day that eligibility period starts |
| End day | Day of the week that eligibility period stops |
| End time | Time of day that eligibility period stops |

Method of calculation the number of premium hours earned:

| Minimum hours | Minimum number of premium hours earned |
| Maximum hours | Maximum number of premium hours earned |
| Stop reason | Reason code on time records that would prevent this policy from activating |
| Date group | User-defined dates where this policy is valid for. Only applicable to Actual and Majority calculations. |
| Daily overtime type | Based on date to calculate only on the start and end days. Based on hours in day and start/end times to calculate on length of hours worked on any given day. |
| Base shift group | Shift group containing the shifts that this premium policy applies to. Used only in overtime calculations. |
| Overwrite earning group | Earning group containing the earnings that can be overridden by this policy's Earning. Used only in overtime calculations. |
| Period type | Calendar unit to determine length of qualifying overtime period. Worker must work in excess of a number of hours/days within the overtime period to receive the premium. Used only in non-daily overtime calculations. |
| Number of periods | Multiplier for Period type to determine length of qualifying overtime period |
| Period start date | Calendar date when overtime premium starts. Date must correspond with Start day. Used only in non-daily overtime calculations. |
| Excess days | Minimum days threshold the worker must work before they qualify for excessive or consecutive days overtime |
| Active date | First date the record is in effect |
| Expiry date | Last date the record is in effect |
