Configurations for Twilio Integration
The topics in this section provide information on the configurations required to integrate Twilio with Anthology Reach.

Prerequisites
Twilioaccount details procured from Twilio:

Account ID

Authentication Token

Perform the following steps to configure a Text Message Provider record to
-
In the Anthology Reach Model-driven app (MDA), select the Settings area.

In the SMS Configuration sitemap, select Settings and select the New button.

In the New Text Message Provider page, specify the following field values:

Name - Specify a name for the Text Message Provider record.

SMS Provider - Select Twilio.
-
Account SID - Specify the Account ID created by Twilio for the Reach org.

Auth Token - Specify the authentication token created for the Account ID for the Reach org.

Select Save.
The Twilio account details specified in Step 3 are sent to Twilio and on successful registration of the Twilio account, the following field details are received from Twilio and populated in the Text Message Provider record:

Incoming SMS Callback URL

SMS Status Callback URL

Specify the following fields values if you are using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Real-time Marketing Journey module in the Reach environment:

Enable Real-time Call-back URL - Select Yes.

Real-time Call-back URL - Specify the callback URL generated for Twilio in the Real-time Marketing Journey Settings.

Perform the following steps:

In the Anthology Reach Model-driven app (MDA), select the Settings area.

In the SMS Configuration sitemap, select Text Message Senders and select the New button.

In the New Text Message Sender page, specify the following field values:

Name - Specify a name for the Text Message Sender record.

SMS Provider - Select the Text Message Provider record created for Twilio.

Sender Type - Select one of the following values based on the number procured from Twilio:

Long Code
-
Toll-Free Number
-

Text Message Sender - Specify the Long Code or Toll-Free number procured from Twilio.

Select Save.
The 'Text Message Sender' details specified in Step 3 are sent to Twilio for validation, and on successful validation the following field details are received from Twilio and populated in the Text Message Sender record:

Select Save.
