Accrual Lines From External Systems Page

The Accrual lines from external systems page displays the accrual lines received from external systems subscribed to Anthology Finance & HCM Azure Service Bus topics, when the integration is enabled for the external systems and the Get payroll records batch job is configured in the External Systems Integration Parameters Page.

Note: Accruals processing is currently not supported when integrated with Anthology Payroll, therefore no data will be displayed on this page.

The accrual lines data is used to calculate the accrual balance (accrued hours and used hours) for a pay period and displayed in the Benefit Accruals From an External System Tab when the pay statement is generated for the employee.

When a pay statement is submitted for an employee, the accrual lines associated with the pay statement are no longer displayed on the Accrual lines from external systemspage. Further, when a pay statement is reversed, the accrual lines associated with the pay statement are added back to the Accrual lines from external systems page.

Note

It is recommended to set the Accrual lines generation to Daily in the external system.

  • Click Modules > Payroll > Inquiries and reports > Accrual lines from external systems

  • When integrated with Anthology Payroll:

    Click Modules > Human resources > Integration with external systems > Inquiries and reports > Accrual lines from external systems

Fields

Field

Description
Name Employee name in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.
Personnel number Employee number in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.
Position ID The position ID assigned to the employee in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.
Benefit accrual plan The unique ID of the benefit accrual plan.
Accrued date Date on which the hours are accrued.
Amount accrued The amount of hours added for the worker based on the period in the pay statement.
Amount used The amount of hours used by the worker based on the period in the pay statement.
Plan year accrued The amount of hours added to the plan for the worker since the start of the current plan year.
Plan year used The amount of hours used by the worker from the plan since the start of the current plan year.
Available The balance hours that is available for the worker to use.
Status The status of the accrual line. It can have one of the following values:

  • Pending - Indicates the accrual lines are received from external system and the pay statement for the accrual line is yet to be generated in Anthology Finance & HCM.

  • Processed - Indicates the pay statement for the accrual line is generated and submitted in Anthology Finance & HCM.
Source name The name of the external system where the accrual lines are generated. It can have one of the following values:

  • CNS-FWM - Indicates the external system is Faculty Workload Management.

  • TCP - Indicates the external system is TimeClock Plus.
Imported date and time The date and time when the accrual line from the external system was imported to Anthology Finance & HCM.
