Create Customer Methods of Payment

For integration with Anthology Student, you need to create customer methods of payment Anthology Finance & HCM, and map them with the corresponding Anthology Student methods of payment.

Steps

  1. Click Accounts receivable > Payments setup > Methods of payment.

  2. Click New.

  3. In the Method of payment field, enter a unique identifier for method of payment. For this procedure, we will enter Check.

  4. In the Payment status field, select Sent.

    For all other payment methods, select None in the Payment status field.

  5. In the Payment type field, select Check.

    For all other payment methods (ACH, Credit Card, EFT, Non-Cash, Cash, and NET) select Other in the Payment type field.

  6. Click the General FastTab.

  7. In the Student Payment method field, select Check.

    This maps the method of payment to the specific method of payment in Anthology Student.

  8. Click the File formats FastTab and perform the following steps:

    1. Click Setup to open the File formats for methods of payment form.

    2. On the EXPORT tab, in the AVAILABLE pane, select Check and click the right arrow to move it to the SELECTED pane.

    3. Click Save and close the File formats for methods of payment form.

    4. In the Export format field, select Check from the drop-down list.

  9. Click Save and close the form.
