Instructor Deletion Actions
This table lists some actions for removing instructors from Course Catalog offerings and their expected results. Consider these results to inform your decision-making.

The instructor account is deleted from Blackboard LMS (not recommended). | All records and activity of the instructor in all offerings are lost. |
The instructor account is made unavailable in Blackboard LMS AND is already assigned to courses and offerings in Course Catalog (not recommended). | The instructor account is disabled in the Instructor Management area in Course Catalog and no longer has access to Blackboard LMS. |
The instructor account is unassigned to an offering in Course Catalog. | The instructor account's enrollment in the offering in Blackboard LMS is set to unavailable, and the instructor can no longer access the Blackboard LMS offering. |
The instructor account's offering enrollment is set to unavailable in Blackboard LMS (not recommended). | The instructor account assignment does not change in Course Catalog. The instructor must be manually unassigned to the offering in Course Catalog. |
