Making a Copy of a Mailing List

Manage Mailing List - To create, edit, copy, and delete Mailing Lists.
You can create a copy of a Mailing List by reusing Filter conditions from the original Mailing List. Make a copy of a Mailing List when the same base Object items segment has to be addressed in different Campaigns, or by different Teams.
Example You have created a dynamic Mailing List comprising Contacts in Dallas. You have been entrusted with the responsibility of dispatching a set of Mailers to the Contacts on that Mailing List. These Mailers are not to be sent to any new Contacts that may be added to Talisma Main Database during or before the scheduled dispatch of those Mailers. You can create a static copy of the Mailing List. |
To Make a Copy of a Mailing List
1. Open the Mailing List Manager.
2. Select the required Mailing List, and click Make a Copy. The New Mailing List dialog box is displayed.
3. Select the type of Mailing List you want to create - Static or Dynamic.
4. Click OK. A new Mailing List is created with the Filter conditions from the original Mailing List.
5. Modify the Filter conditions, if it is required.
6. Select the Properties tab.
7. Specify the values for the Properties of the new Mailing List. The Name and Teams are mandatory Properties.
8. From the File menu, select Save.

Click . The Mailing List is created and displayed in the Mailing List Manager.
