Convert Opportunity to Order - To convert an Opportunity into an Order.

An Opportunity is converted into an Order when the Contact places an Order for the Product or service.

To Convert an Opportunity to an Order

1.  Open the required Opportunity.

2.  From the Properties tab, select Won as the value for the Status field.

3.  From the File menu, select New Order.

The Order is displayed in the Order window.

4.  From the File menu, select Save.

The Opportunity is now converted into an Order. All Orders associated with this Opportunity are displayed in the Orders tab of the Opportunity window.

Note  •   The new Order inherits the Product Properties of the Opportunity from which it was created. •   An incubated Opportunity cannot be converted into an Order.

 

Tip   You can create multiple Orders from a single Opportunity.
