Global Permissions

The Global Permissions table lists the description for each Global Permission.

The User column in the table indicates the user who is typically granted the permission.

If this Permission is not enabled even though the Edit Leads permission is enabled, phone numbers of Leads that are marked as DNC are displayed as asterisks (*) and cannot be edited.

Further, the User cannot view audit information for the Phone Properties of the Lead Object in the History Tab when audit is enabled.

Audit information is not displayed even if the call status of the phone number is callable.

Note

If a User does not have this Permission:

In Desktop Client, the User can edit the Phone Properties in the Set Properties dialog box by selecting multiple Leads.

When Leads are merged and one of the Leads has a DNC phone number, the phone number Property cannot be edited.

Note

Global Objects whose items cannot be accessed using GoTo options in Desktop Client will not be listed in the GoTo Object Permission. For example, items of the Program Object cannot be accessed using the GoTo menu option.

When you create a custom Global Object, it is added to the list of Global Objects in the GoTo Object Permission and is selected by default.
