When you create an Opportunity from a Contact or Order window, certain Properties of these Objects are inherited by the new Opportunity. Talisma enables you to create an Opportunity from the following Object windows:

•   Interaction window

•   Contact window

•   Account window

•   Order window

•   Campaign window

Example

You have created a new Contact in Talisma called John Bender who belongs to the Home Needs Account. John is interested in the summer clothing that you are selling. Create an Opportunity from the Contact window. The new Opportunity will automatically set John as the primary Contact, as well as a Contact.
