Access Method

Procedure to Update the Database

  1. Select the Update tab.

  2. Specify the following values.

Oldest DateClosed The oldest date for which the DNC records are updated. It must be before the date you specify for Newest Date.

Newest DateClosed The newer date for which the DNC records are updated. It is set to 90 days prior during processing to comply with Federal Trade Commission (FTC) rules. For example, if the Newest Date is 04/01/2018, that date is transformed into 01/01/2018. This date value is used to gather potential students who need to have their phone numbers updated. The newest date cannot be after the current date.

  3. Select the Queue Update button.

  4. On the Queue Batch dialog, review or change the name of the batch and select the Queue button.

Anthology Student processes the batch and:

    • Gathers all numbers that have a newest date within the date range provided, adjusted for 90 days back-dating on the Newest Date value

    • Replaces any matched phone numbers in the Anthology Student DNC database with the text Do Not Call (such as phone number, work phone, or other secondary phone numbers)

    • Stores the original phone number is stored in a cross-reference table.

When the batch completes, Anthology Student displays the results on the History tab to view the status of the import as started or completed.
