Description
Piece codes define unit-based earnings that are paid out according to the number produced or completed. Each piece code is tied to a corresponding earning code.
Fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Piece | Name of the piece code |
| Short code | 5-character identifier. Defaults to the first five characters of the name. |
| Piece description | Long description of the piece code |
| Earning | Earning code that workers producing this piece code receive |
| Eligibility group code | Restriction on workers who may produce this piece code |
| Minimum units | Minimum number of units that can be entered per pay period |
| Maximum units | Maximum number of units that can be entered per pay period |
| Active date | First date the record is in effect |
| Expiry date | Last date the record is in effect |
