Date Period Dates

Description
Date period dates are the specific, real-world dates associated with a date period code.
These dates must be added/updated regularly.

Fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Pay group | Pay group that the dates are specific to, if applicable. Date periods relating to your tax year/quarter/month/week should not be associated to a specific pay group. |
| Date period | Name of the date period |
| Date period year | Year value of the date period date (e.g., 2020) |
| Date period number | Period in the active year if the year contains multiple date periods (e.g., 5 for the 5th month of 2020). Date period year and Date period number pairs must be unique. |
| Date period active date | Active date of the date period record |
| Start date | First day of the period date (e.g., 01/05/2020) |
| End date | Last day of the period date (e.g., 31/05/2020) |
| Statement date | Date that will print on pay statements when used as pay period end dates |
| Work days | Count of working days in the date period. Not used in pay processing, but can be used in reporting. |
