Description
Calculations are a key function of Anthology Payroll that determines how earnings, benefit/deductions, and entitlements are calculated for each worker or position.
Calculations must be set up prior to the payroll objects that use them.

Fields
| Field | Description |

| Calculation | Name of the calculation |
| Short code | 5-character identifier. Defaults to the first five characters of the name. |
| Calculation description | Long description of the calculation |
| Version | Version number for calculations that are managed by the software provider. Calculations with version numbers cannot be modified. |
| Country/region | Jurisdictional information for the calculation, if applicable |
| State/province | |
| Display in list | Yes to denote the calculation produces an end result and is selectable when associating with payroll objects. No, to denote the calculation produces an intermediate result to be used in other calculations. |
| Active date | First date the record is in effect |
| Expiry date | Last date the record is in effect |
