Calculation Rate Items

Description

Calculation rate items are individual records in a calculation rate table that can be conceptualized as tax brackets. A rate item contains an Item amount as the comparison value (bracket) and an Item rate for the calculation modifier (tax rate).

Each calculation rate item must be associated with a calculation rate.

Fields

Field	Description
Calculation rate	Calculation rate this item is associated with
Calc rate active date	Active date of the parent calculation rate
Item amount	The minimum value of a tier/bracket that the calculation result is compared to
Item description	Description of the tier/bracket. Optional.
Adjustment amount	A positive or negative amount that is added to either the calculation result before rate calculations or the final result after rate calculations. Optional.
Item rate	Rate value applied to the calculation result for this tier/bracket. This rate is either multiplied by the result or returned as the final result.
Version	Version number for rate items that are managed by the software provider. Items with version numbers cannot be modified.
Country/region	Jurisdictional information for the rate item, if applicable
