Legal entity does not exist in Anthology Finance & HCM

Summary

Posting of student transactions to Anthology Finance & HCM using the Release to General Ledger process in Anthology Student with a non-existing legal entity fails with the following error message:

Legal entity with <transaction ID> does not exist. Error when creating Student transactions.

Cause

This message is displayed when a student transaction is released from Anthology Student to Anthology Finance & HCM using Release to General Ledger for a legal entity that is not available in Anthology Finance & HCM.

Resolution

Map the Campus in Anthology Student to which transactions are posted to an existing legal entity in Anthology Finance & HCM, and run the Release to General Ledger process in Anthology Student.

Create a legal entity to post a transaction from Anthology Student to Anthology Finance & HCM using the Release to General Ledger process.
