Generating IPEDS Reports
This topic provides information on the various IPEDS reports that can be generated in Anthology Finance & HCM.
Prerequisites

Ensure the IPEDS prerequisites are configured. For details, see Configurations for IPEDS Reports.
Roles and Privileges
CMC: IPEDS administrator / System administrator
Users must have the CMC: IPEDS administrator role to generate the IPEDS reports.
Users will be able to generate the IPEDS reports, if in addition to the CMC: IPEDS administrator role they have any or a combination of the following roles:
- Human resource assistant
- Human resource manager
- Compensation and benefits manager
- Payroll administrator
- Payroll manager
- Employee
- Manager
- CMC: Payroll chief supervisor

IPEDS Reports
Following are the IPEDS reports that can be generated in Anthology Finance & HCM to view specific IPEDS data:
This report displays the number of full-time instructional staff at the institution from the academic rank (e.g., professor, associate professor, etc), gender and race/ethnicity standpoints filtered by the faculty status and contract status. Instructional staff refers to individuals whose primary occupation includes instruction at the institution.
The following table provides information about filters that are used for building the report:

Faculty status |
Select a Faculty status to filter the records to be displayed on the report. It has the following values:

Contract status |
Select a Contract status to filter the records to be displayed on the report. Note: This field is available for selection only when the user selects the Not on tenure track/NoTenure system option in the Faculty status field. It has the following values, that are linked with the Not on tenure track/NoTenure system Faculty status:

This report displays the total number of staff at the institution from the gender and race/ethnicity standpoints filtered by the employment status and the instructional status.

Select the Show details drop down to view two options: Summary - Select this option to view the consolidated totals for each race/ethnicity. This is the default option. Details - Select this option to view the breakdown for each race/ethnicity. |
This report displays the number of staff at the institution from the occupational category and the faculty status standpoints, and filtered by the employment status, instructional status and medical school status. Information displayed in the report can be grouped by the medical school status.

Note: The employee compensation fixed plan(base pay) is used for generating the Salary outlays report.
