Remove Federal Work Study Earnings

In some scenarios, institutions may need to remove Federal work study earnings for a worker. This topic outlines the steps to remove earning lines from an Earning Statement and earning statements for a worker with Federal work study position.

Note: Users performing this task must have the System administrator/CMC: Federal work study administrator role.

Removing Earning Lines from a Federal Work Study Earning Statement

Prerequisite: The earning lines should have the Payment status as New.

  1. Select the required Legal entity.

  2. Navigate to the Federal Work Study earning statements page (under Student accounting > Federal work study > Federal work study earning statements).

  3. Click the required earning statement number.

  4. In the Federal work study earnings page, in the Earning statement lines section, select the earning line with the Payment status as New, and click Remove.

  5. Click Save.

    The earning line record is removed from the earning statement.

Removing Federal Work Study Earning Statements for a Worker

Prerequisite: There should not be any earning lines associated with the earning statements.

  1. Select the required Legal entity.

  2. Navigate to the Federal Work Study earning statements page (under Student accounting > Federal work study > Federal work study earning statements).

  3. Click the required earning statement number(s), and click Delete.

    The earning statement(s) are removed from the Federal work study earning statements page.
