The AuthenticationService Web service is used to authenticate a user before performing any API transactions. Each API transaction contains a certain level of security based on user permissions.
Key based authorization is an alternate method for authentication and authorization within Campuslink based on Symmetric Keys. For more information, see Key Based Authentication.
You can use the Application API Keys page to generate and store the application keys for third-party applications that want to use CampusLink APIs or Student Web App.
