Database Topology
Before setting up replication, review the Anthology Student database topology illustrated below.
Note: COM+ or Portal servers are omitted for simplicity.
It is important to note that any number of client applications (Anthology Student, Portal, APIs, and so on) can access a Anthology Student database.
After you set up replication, the Anthology Student topology will be similar to the topology outlined in the following figure. Note the additional read-only reporting database used by Reports.
