My Career

The My Career submenu allows you to search for jobs, manage job search agents, upload your resume, and create an employment profile in Student Portal.

Employers and jobs must be defined in Anthology Student. Jobs which are to be searchable in Portal must be configured with the View Online option within the job detail.

Portal configuration exists mainly for the job search and job display options. Institutions can use the search configuration to limit the types of jobs that students can view and apply for online. The combination of a student’s school status and placement status determines the searchable job types.

The display of jobs in Portal is also configurable and contains the following options:

• Option to hide all salary information for a specific combination of school/placement status.

• Option to hide employer name and contact information.

Institutions that use Portal must also configure a Contact Manager activity and target to be used when students submit an application for a job online.
