Integration Modalities

The Anthology product integration is designed around supporting event- based, API-based, and file-based integration modalities. The selected modalities depend on the products to be integrated, the method of data transportation, and under what time constraints the integrated systems should transmit data. An integration offering may choose to implement a mixture of these modalities. For example, in a bidirectional integration, one direction may use an event-based model while the other might use a file-based approach. This decision is influenced by the underlying capabilities of the systems being integrated.
