Import File Validation

The Import File Validation setting ensures the system verifies whether an XML file has been externally modified during imports. By default, this setting is enabled to validate file integrity.

If the Import File Validation setting is disabled:

• Only the user who disables the setting can import modified files.

• Other users will need to disable the setting themselves if they wish to import modified files.

• Once a modified file is imported, the system automatically re-enables the setting for security.

• If no file is imported, the setting remains disabled until manually re-enabled or an import is completed by that user.

Note: All actions related to enabling/disabling the setting and importing files are tracked in the audit table.

How to Use

• Navigate to Settings in Forms Builder.

• Find Import File Validation and check or uncheck the box to enable or disable validation.

• Import your XML files based on the configured setting.
