About Lifecycles

Lifecycles assist in tracking contacts as they move through different stages of their relationship with an institution. A lifecycle defines exactly where a contact record falls within any given process at any given point in time.

Following are some examples of lifecycles:

• Journey from the prospect to enrollment stage
• Converting a new alumni to a donor
• Enrolling a new employee to the career services department
