Release Highlights

Academic Records

Advising – Degree Progress Audit with Automated Multiple Fulfillment

To make advisement more seamless, the Degree Progress Audit can now account for a single course fulfilling course requirements for multiple categories without manual intervention. Now there is no need for students to wait while advisors or the registrar perform manual multiple fulfillment on their progress report. Catalog rules are applied limiting the need for exceptions and waivers. As an item highly requested by clients, this item was created with multiple client feedback sessions to meet your needs.

Advising – Institutions can now configure and use documents and tests in requirement rules.

Institutions will now be able to set requirement rules on Programs, Program Versions, and Areas of Study that can use documents or tests to fulfill the requirement rule. Requirements for graduation that fall outside of specific course work are now visible to the student providing a clearer picture of what they have done to meet graduation requirements.

Waive Requisites on a Class Section using Registration Rules

Registrars and Scheduling Coordinators now can waive a course requisite on a single section of a course. Class Sections can be offered without the normal requisites established for a course and registration rules can be used to preserve registration restrictions on the section itself. This increases the ability to support different student populations with different requisite requirements.

Override Conflicts in Track Registration

Registrars now can waive conflicts in track registration, making registration through this batch process, faster and easier and identifying conflict types for resolution or override so that students can continue to be registered in their complete track.

Usability and Accessibility:

  • In this release we have continued to expand support for screen readers and addition of landmarks. The Student Web App and the Student Portal have been updated expanding the friendliness and support to screen readers.

  • In Academic Advising, users will now be able to find courses much easier with the ability to search by name and code when adding a course to the Degree Progress Audit.

  • In Configuration of Program Versions in Student Accounting, the Billing Method column has been added to the main grid allowing for easier identification and grouping of like program versions.

Regulatory and Compliance Updates

The system continues to expand support for FAFSA simplification including additional support for Enrollment Intensity and related updates.

Financial Aid Credits

The system can now be configured to use Financial Aid Credits to assess a student's enrollment status. These credits can influence the amount and type of aid a student receives, such as federal grants, loans, and work-study opportunities.

Campus Selection Added to Satisfactory Academic Progress Process

The system will now allow users to select their campus(es) before the execution of SAP. This will allow users to only see the students on the campuses to which they have access and allow SAP to be executed on a campus-to-campus basis.
