Manage Products - You can select one or Products and associate them with the selected Product as related Products.

You can associate one or more Products with a selected Product.

Example   WorldWaves deals with desktops and allows customers to place an Order for the configuration of their choice, from the Web site. Along with the desktop, customers can choose a variety of software. The accompanying software will be related Products.

To Add a Related Product

1.  Open the required Product.

2.  Select the Related Products tab.

3.  Right-click in the pane and select Add from the shortcut menu.

The Add Product dialog box is displayed.

4.  Locate a Product by specifying search conditions in the available fields.

Select the Use Contains Operator to widen the scope of your search. Talisma will search for Products in which values of text type of Properties specified in the search fields are available.

Example   You specified Computer Monitors as the string in the Product name field. When the Use Contains Operator option is selected, Talisma displays all Products in which any word from the specified string is available in the Product name field.

5.  Click . Products that match the search criteria are displayed in the Results area.

6.  Select the required Product, and click Add.

7.  Repeat Steps 3 through 6 for every related Product you want to add to this Product.

8.  From the File menu, select Save.

Related Products are associated with the selected Product.

Note  In the Add Product dialog, you can create a new Product, and add it as a Related Product to the currently selected Product.
