An Account is an organization that maintains a business relationship with your organization. An Account comprises one or more Contacts. Talisma Users interact with these Contacts for all business transactions.
Account Hierarchy
Account Hierarchy refers to the position of the Contact with respect to other Contacts in an Account. It also displays all Accounts related to the Account you are currently viewing. Talisma enables you to define how the different Contacts in an Account are organized by defining the Account Hierarchy. You can also specify the Parent Account of a selected Account.
Viewing the Account Hierarchy
The Account Hierarchy of an Account and its related Accounts is displayed in the Account Hierarchy tab of the Account window.
A sample hierarchy graphic is given below. In the sample:
• The Bobby Simpson Associates Account is the parent of Acme Inc, and Worldwaves Accounts.
• Parker Roy, a Contact belongs to the Worldwaves Account.
