Managing Multiple Chat Sessions
Permissions Required
Use Media Chat - To work in the Chat Workspace. Chat requests are routed only to Users who have this Permission. These Users can work with chat sessions and log Interactions.
The Talisma Chat Workspace enables you to chat with multiple visitors who are browsing the organization's Web site. The visitors with whom you have accepted to chat, are displayed in your My Sessions pane. The My Sessions pane enables you to conveniently switch between several ongoing chat sessions. The My Sessions pane displays a list of all visitors with whom you are involved in a chat session.
To Switch Between Chat Sessions
1. In the My Sessions pane of the Chat tab, select the visitor with whom you want to chat.

Use:
◦ CTRL + UP arrow to switch to a chat session listed above the current chat session.
◦ CTRL + DOWN arrow to switch to a chat session listed below the current chat session.
The Transcript pane displays the transcript of the conversation between you and the selected visitor during an ongoing chat session.
2. Type the message in the Message area of the Transcript pane, and continue the chat session.
Note • The maximum number of chat sessions that you can handle is defined in Talisma Business Administrator, when creating a User. The Business Administrator User defines this number in the Real Time Stored field in the Media Load Options area of the New User wizard. For more information about defining Media Load Options, see Talisma Business Administrator Help. • When calculating the load for a User, internal sessions are not taken into consideration. |
