Use Media Chat - To work in the Chat Workspace. Chat requests are routed only to Users who have this Permission. These Users can work with chat sessions and log Interactions.

During an ongoing chat session, you can check the status of the Session Server. When you select the Check Alive option in the Chat menu of the Talisma Chat Workspace, Talisma connects to the IIS server to check whether the Session Server is still alive.

If the Internet Information Server (IIS) has stopped responding, subsequent messages are not displayed in the Transcript pane.

To Check the Status of the Session Server

•   From the Chat menu, select Check Alive.

If the server is not alive, the chat session is marked in red font and the Recover Session option in the Chat menu is enabled.
