Link Tabs and Properties
The tables in this topic describe the Properties available in the various tabs of the Link Object.
The Link Object contains the following tabs:

The text "TBA" in the last column of the table refers to Talisma Business Administrator.
Properties Tab
The Properties tab contains system Properties. It also contains custom Properties created for the Link Object. Values for these Properties are set in Talisma Client.

Link ID |
A unique identifier for the Link. This is generated by Talisma when a Link is saved. |

Name |
Name of the Link. This is a free text field. Number of characters: 255 The Name Property enables you to easily locate a Link using the search feature in Talisma. |

Owner |
Name of the User who created the Link. By default, the User who creates the Link is its owner. You can change the owner by selecting a different User's name from the list of Users displayed in the Owner Property row in the Link window. |

The date and time when the Link record was created. |

The date and time when the Link record was last modified. |

URL |
The URL associated with the Link. When you send the Link to a visitor from the Chat Workspace, this URL is displayed on the visitor's screen. The visitor can click the URL link to access the relevant Web site. |

Share Tab *
This tab lists the Teams in which you have the Manage Links Permission. The Teams with which the Link is shared are selected. This selection can be modified.
As Link is a shared Object, you must share a Link with at least one Team when creating the Link.
History Tab
This tab lists the actions performed on the Link. For example, if a Link is categorized, this action is recorded as an event in the history of the Link. To specify the events to be displayed in this tab, select Options from the Tools menu. In the Options dialog box, set the required Link Event options from the Event tab.
Note When Talisma is installed afresh, audit is disabled for all events and Properties. Hence, audit records will not be displayed in the History tab. For more information about enabling or disabling audit, see Talisma Business Administrator Help and Installation Manager Help. |
Categories Tab
This tab displays all Categories created for the Link Object. From this tab, you can categorize the Link by selecting one or more Categories.
URL Description Tab
This free text tab enables you to type a description of the URL that the Link represents.
Personal Tab
Lists Properties created for the Personal tab in Business Administrator. The tab is visible in Talisma Client only for the User who created these Properties. Note that the Personal tab is visible for the User only if the User has created at least one Property for the tab.
