Pronoun Tabs and Properties
Pronouns are a way to refer to each other in the third person. They are used when people introduce themselves in meetings, in email signatures and in events of any kind. Usage of applicable pronouns to individuals is increasingly prevalent as it creates an inclusive culture, more so in institutions of higher learning where staff or students identify as gender neutral or non-binary.
The pronoun object serves this need, and enables students to share applicable pronouns on social media profiles or name tags. Students can also state such pronouns in meetings, whether online or in person, or at student seminars.
Gender-neutral pronouns can be they, them, theirs — words that traditionally refer to a plural number but that nowadays are used by some individuals who identify as gender nonbinary or who prefer not to share gender information. Other pronouns can be the masculine he, him, his or the feminine she, her, hers.
While the Talisma User will not be required to create instances of the Pronoun Object, the user will be required to incorporate instances of the Pronoun Object into Lead and Contact records.
